Student Media
Landmark College offers students a full array of opportunities to participate in television, radio, web, and print media. In addition to student-run clubs, there are also courses that provide instruction in the practical and philosophical aspects of media management and production.
LCVoices.com
LCVoices.com provides one-stop access to all student-run media outlets as well as student-generated news reporting, visual artwork, creative writing, op-eds, and more.
Students enrolled in the Introduction to Publications or Publication Leadership courses take an active role in managing all aspects of the site and producing the companion Voices magazine print publication.
WLMC Radio
WLMC Radio offers several semesters of radio courses including basic DJ training, sound production, radio programming, and leadership duties to help run the daily operations of the station.
DJ’s are trained every semester and meet weekly to discuss how they are developing their own “broadcaster identity.” WLMC expects students to know FCC guidelines and many other “industry standard” skills of the trade.
VOICES TV
VOICES TV is a platform for students to learn and develop the skills of television and video production, express themselves creatively, and build community on the Landmark College campus.
Over its short time in operation, VOICES TV has expanded its offerings to include news programs, talks shows, sketch comedy, and more.
