Fall Term Orientation

Congratulations on your decision to join the Fall incoming class and make Landmark College your college! These pages will be your resource on the steps to take before your arrival, as well as information about campus life at Landmark College.

All Student Orientation programming is required (unless otherwise noted). Family orientation sessions are optional, though strongly encouraged. Families are invited to join us for all meals while they are on campus during the family orientation program. See the detailed orientation program schedule below for both families and students. (These documents are subject to change and will be updated accordingly.)

Prearrival Online Orientation Sessions

  • For Students: August 2 through August 23; schedules and links to join sessions will be sent to the student’s Landmark College email account.
  • For Families: August 2 through August 20; schedules and links to join sessions will be sent to families and posted here.

On-Campus Student & Family Orientation Overview

  • Thursday, August 26
    • Registration & Residence Hall Move-In: 9 a.m. – Noon
    • Student & Family Welcome: 2 – 2:20 p.m.
    • Student & Family Break-Out Sessions: 2:45 p.m.
    • Academic Advisor Meet and Greet: 4:30 p.m.
    • Welcome Dinner: 5:30 p.m. (Families depart for the evening after dinner)
    • Evening Sessions for students: 7 p.m.
  • Friday, August 27
    • Tours of Campus & Putney (for families): 8 – 9:15 a.m.
    • Student & Family Orientation Sessions (separate): 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    • President’s Reception for Families: 4 p.m.
    • Evening Session for students: 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 28
    • Convocation: 9:30 – 11 a.m.
    • Family Farewell Brunch: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Families depart after Brunch)
    • Student Orientation Sessions: 1 – 5:30 p.m.
    • Evening Events & Programs
  • Sunday, August 29
    • Student Orientation Sessions: 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
    • Evening Events & Programs
  • Monday, August 30
    • Classes begin
    • Optional orientation programming for students will fall outside of class commitments through September 1
