Things to Do Near Campus
As of May 2021 ...
Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions are subject to change with weekly guidance from the State of Vermont Department of Health. Updated travel instructions are emailed weekly to students and outings are limited to local Vermont and New Hampshire destinations.
Brattleboro, Vermont is 15 minutes from campus and has been named one of the 10 best small arts towns in America. Home to an art deco movie theater and numerous shops and restaurants, the town is a favorite destination for students. Restaurant offerings include sushi, wood-fired pizza, Thai food, burgers, espresso, bagels, pastries, barbecue, frozen yogurt, and more.
A short walk from campus, the town center of Putney features a food co-op, a pizzeria, a diner, and several other restaurants, as well as live music, art, and theater.
Students in search of outdoor experiences will find world-class skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, and hiking nearby.
Keene, New Hampshire is 30 minutes east of Putney and offers a movie cinema, restaurants, big box stores, and specialty food and gift shops.
Landmark College is located in Putney, Vermont in the southeastern part of the state. The campus is two and a half hours from Boston and four hours from New York.
At this time, Landmark College offers free shuttle service to Brattleboro and Keene ONLY. Travel opportunities to Boston, the Holyoke Mall in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and local ski areas may be added in 2021 pending ongoing pandemic travel guidance.
