At Landmark College, every student has the opportunity to be part of an athletic team. We offer a full schedule of team and intercollegiate athletics as well as intramural sports for those looking for a less competitive option.

When you visit the Click Sports Center, make sure you stop to see the photos of our Landmark College Sports Hall of Fame Inductees and recent Athletic Awards winners.

Landmark College Baseball has offerings for all players, whether a seasoned athlete or just getting started. LC Baseball has a traveling team for competitive players and a practice squad for those looking to learn a new skill and have fun in a team environment. Our players are of all skill levels, including those who have an abundance of experience and those who haven't played since middle school, but want to try baseball at a higher level. Landmark College offers both Spring and Fall Baseball.

Our schedule includes games against small colleges and community college as well as teams from the Connecticut River Valley Baseball League. Competition is fierce, and Landmark College has been very successful, including an undefeated season in 2011.

Landmark College has an impressive coaching staff and a spirited fan base who love to cheer on the team at the Landmark/Dummerston baseball field. It is a professional-sized field with 320 feet down the baselines and over 400 feet in straight away center.

Our men's basketball program has been a mainstay of our athletic programs since Landmark College was founded.

The Landmark Men's Basketball team competes against a wide variety of teams in diverse venues across New England and New York. It is a highly competitive program in which students with years of basketball experience as well as newcomers to the sport are welcome. Men's Basketball chooses a traveling squad for away games from the full roster of students who are on the practice squad. Our Click Center venue, sometimes known as the "Shark Tank," offers a regulation size court and pull-out bleachers to hold all of our fans.

The basketball season begins in the middle of October and runs through mid-February of the Spring semester (excluding Thanksgiving and winter breaks).

  • Landmark College cross country runner competing in a race

The Cross Country running team is open to men and women of all skill levels. It includes runners who finish in the top five of every race, as well as newcomers to the sport who run on the team purely for fitness purposes. The running team competes in a number of different local road races (usually 5K) throughout the fall semester.

  • Women's softball team playing on Landmark College quad

Landmark College's softball team is a fun opportunity for female students who have been playing softball for a long time, as well as for those who want to play for the first time. It is slow/medium pitch softball, and this team does not currently play against other colleges, but plays against other students, faculty, and staff. The softball field is located on the quad in the middle of campus and is the perfect setting for passers by to stop and watch the games or to join right in!

  • Landmark College soccer player runningLandmark College Soccer competes against small colleges and community colleges to complete their schedule of about a dozen games each fall semester.  We also play games once per week versus a local men's league team that is experienced and able to sharpen our skills.

Often as many as 40 students are a part of the overall roster, with 20 or so chosen to play on the travel team. Those who are not on the travel team play on the practice squad, with the possibility of moving up to the travel team when the opportunity arises.

Women are welcome and make a huge contribution to the team.
