Through the Association of Vermont Independent Colleges (AVIC), Landmark College has joined forces with other private Vermont Colleges who offer enrolled students the option of participating in a Semester Exchange Program. This program allows students to study and earn credits at other institutions, participate in a different educational environment, access new courses and teaching approaches, and experience new academic cultures.

Primarily designed for students in their junior year of college, the AVIC Semester Exchange Program will admit sophomores into the program under special circumstances. Students must be in good standing, enrolled as a full-time student, and have no pending disciplinary actions against them on their home campuses. This semester exchange is only offered during the academic year, fall or spring. Students continue to pay the tuition set at their home institutions. Applicable room, board, and student fees are paid to the host institutions.

Further information, including FAQs and guidelines are available on the AVIC Semester Exchange webpage.

Interested students should notify their advisor and begin the application process at least one semester in advance of the desired exchange. Students must be nominated by Landmark College before engaging in the selection process with the host college or university.
