College START Orientation

We're excited to welcome our students studying online!

Congratulations on your decision to join College START and make Landmark College your college! These pages will be your resource on the steps to take before the semester begins.

Orientation Programming Overview for College START students

To support your strong connection to programming and community, the LC team has designed a robust orientation program for students and their families. The major components of our Orientation program include:

  • Family Orientation: Recordings of several family sessions are avaiable below. These sessions were created for families as they help their students transition to online learning at Landmark.

New Student Orientation Course in Canvas

The New Student Orientation course in Canvas (our Learning Management System) will be available to all new students (online and on-campus) on Thursday, January 5. You will receive a notification in your Landmark e-mail inbox, and you can access the course at this link:

This course consists of self-guided, independent modules to help you gain important skills and knowledge. Topics include:

The LC Online Student Readiness course is for our online students only, and is also available in Canvas. It is also self-guided and asynchronous, and we encourage students to work on it independently once it becomes available on January 9.
