Online students will have access to a wide variety of resources and events. The New Student Orientation will feature a virtual orientation through Canvas (the same platform where students will take their classes) which includes information on important topics including Student Technology Support, Using the Online Library, The Drake Center for Academic Support, Social Pragmatics Support, and how to find out about online activities and events. The orientation will also include live online meetings and workshops with Academic Advisors, Career Advisors, and Student Affairs staff.
Landmark College is committed to offering programming that will connect online students with each other to encourage engagement with their classmates and the campus community. A variety of virtual events will be offered such as Online Karaoke, Kahoot! Trivia with prizes, Jackbox Games, streaming of live concerts and performances, gaming/esports, and improv and comedy night. Online students will be able to participate virtually in numerous student clubs as well as events sponsored by the Center for Neurodiversity and the Centers for Diversity and Inclusion.
