Center for Women and Gender

The Center for Women and Gender seeks to foster a critical awareness of gender and gender identity and seeks to create a brave space, accessible to students of all genders, that serves as a resource and forum for topics and issues related to female identified students and, more broadly, how students experience gender at LC and in the larger world. The Center promotes learning about and exploring gender identify through personal experience, academic inquiry, community organizing, activism, and discussion.

The Center is located in the basement of Frost Hall. The Center for Women and Gender provides a comfortable, inclusive, and fun place for students to hang out, meet other students, and engage in challenging but fun conversations. The Center contains comfortable furniture, a TV, resource library, and materials related to gender and gender identity.
