Online Dual Enrollment—New Students Spring 2024

Congratulations! You have been accepted to the LC Online Dual Enrollment Program for Spring 2024.

Your experience will provide the opportunity to earn college credits, build communication skills, and develop awareness and self-advocacy around your learning difference, enabling your self-confidence and long-term success academically.

Please take time to review the information below and save linked attachments in an easy to access location.
 

Mark your calendars

  • Monday, January 8th
    • Spring 2024 Orientation - Online invite coming soon with link to join.
  • Wednesday, January 10th or anytime thereafter: 
    • New students: can log onto Canvas upon receipt of their username and password.
      * Students will receive an email from [email protected] with their credentials.
  • Wednesday, January 10th and anytime thereafter:
    • Each Student should log into Canvas with their credentials and access the LC Online Student Readiness Training. This prep course is highly recommended to help you prepare you for learning online.
    • Landmark Course Coach: Your Landmark coach will contact you to schedule weekly synchronous 1:1 meetings designed to support your progress and answer questions.
      School-based Course Coach: Your School-based coach will work with you during face-to-face meetings at school to support your progress and answer questions.
    • Textbooks: Review the Textbook List and Procedures including the process for requesting digital copies of textbooks. Purchase any required course materials before the semester start date. 
    • Workspace - Prepare your learning space in a quiet location, free from interruption. All students should be prepared with the textbook, a course binder, tabs, pens, pencils, highlighters, and paper for notetaking.
  • Monday, January 22nd - (12:01 am ET) Classes Begin! Your course(s) will appear on your Canvas dashboard.

Things you should know:
1. Semester-at-a-Glance - Academic calendar, including breaks and holidays.
2. Tech Requirements - Check your Tech! We want to be sure you are completely prepared for the semester.
3. A Guide for Students - This is a great resource guide, providing answers to frequently asked questions.
