Reciprocal Borrowers
- Faculty members at Vermont Consortium of Academic Libraries (VCAL) institutions participating in the VCAL Faculty Reciprocal Borrowing Program.
- Reciprocal Borrowers may each borrow a maximum of 10 items. Of these items, a maximum of 5 may belong to our LD, ADHD & ASD Research Collection. Please consult the Library staff for possible exceptions.
- Reciprocal Borrowers will resolve any bills for lost or damaged items with their home institution library. The Landmark College Library will bill the borrower’s library, and that library will resolve the bill with the borrower according to that library’s policies. Please see Lost/Damaged Items (Faculty & Staff) for more information.

Visitor Borrowers
Individuals in the following categories may apply for Visitor Borrowing Privileges, which are listed in the Visitor Policy:
- Landmark College Affiliates: Spouses and legal partners of current Landmark College faculty and staff are eligible for visitor borrowing privileges.
- Adult Residents of Windham County: Adult residents (age 18+) of Windham County may, upon presentation of a valid photo ID and proof of address, apply for visitor borrowing privileges. Residents under the age of 18 are not eligible for borrowing privileges unless a parent or legal guardian signs for them. The parent or legal guardian must apply in person with the minor and show a valid photo ID and proof of address.
Alumni Borrowers and Family Members of Current Landmark College Students
Alumni are also free to use the resources and services of the Library with the same borrowing privileges as current Landmark College students. Family members of current Landmark College students are welcome as part of the Landmark College community and as such have full access to the Library’s resources and services. They may borrow Library materials via their student’s Library account with the student’s authorization. Similarly, children of current Landmark College employees may borrow items via their parent or guardian’s account with authorization of that account holder.

Borrowing Limits
Library staff may use their discretion to limit the number of items an individual may borrow at one time, balancing the needs of the larger Landmark College community with the needs of the individual.
Due to the limited size of and high demand for certain collections, audiovisual resources have a limit of 10 items per individual Library account, with exceptions available per the discretion of the Library staff. The following resources are included in this category:
- DVDs
- VHS tapes
- audiobooks
- audio CDs
Lost/Damaged Items (Students)
Library materials not returned by the end of each semester will be considered lost. At the end of each term, students will be charged for lost and damaged Library items. Additional charges may be applied to the following items: out-of-print, interlibrary loan, and audiovisual items. (Charges vary according to the availability and replacement price of the item.)
Lost/Damaged Items (Faculty and Staff)
