Welcome to Landmark’s Irish Experience 2017

Welcome to the Landmark College Irish Experience 2017 blog!  We will be posting regularly from Ireland to share our experience with friends and family at home as we travel and study together in Ireland.

Mike Hutcheson, Academic Director, and Sara Glennon, Program Director are both Associate Professors at Landmark College in Putney, VT. From June 17 - July 8, 2017 we will be in Ireland with 13 Landmark College students, studying Irish history and culture.  Bookmark this site (www.landmark.edu/ireland) and visit regularly to view new entries. We ended the program with a lovely afternoon and evening in the Old City.

Markets, Islamic Cultural Center, and Swimming

We visited several sites in our own neighborhood today, visiting two local markets and a local mosque. In the afternoon several of us cooled off in a brand-new municipal infinity pool on the shores of the Saint Lawrence.
