Peformance of Paradise Now

Today Charlotte and Justin planned out a route for us to get to the Bush Theater via tube to see a performance of Paradise Now, by Margaret Perry.  The play is a comical but somewhat discomfiting look at the dark side of ambition that emerges amongst a group of women eager to secure a sense of community and purpose for themselves through selling essential oils for a marketing company called Paradise.  The play serves as a reminder of the sense of isolation and disconnect we have all felt on some level in the past few years as we begin to contemplate life in a post covid world.
