Marketing & Communications Assistant

The Office of Marketing & Communications is seeking a graduate to assist with videography, video editing, and project management of video production; social media; graphic design; website updates; and various other duties. This is a Landmark College Post-Graduate Assistantship Program (PGAP) position, and only available for recent Landmark College (LC) graduates. Positions Open: 1
Days and Times Needed: Hours 30 hrs/wk. Some nights and weekends may be required. 
Dress Requirements: Business casual

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and create videos for external marketing and internal, student-focused, purposes.
  • Increase video editing skills by learning software and music acquisition and editing to create video content for internal and external purposes.
  • Greater oversight of project management and creation of a production schedule of video content.
  • Assist with content creation and calendars for Landmark College’s social media feeds.
  • Participation in special projects that might include research to support Marketing & Communications initiatives, including clerical and database work, website support, interviewing, and writing.

Preferred Qualifications and Application Requirements:

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from Landmark College.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Experience and comfort with videography and video editing.
  • Experience and comfort with social media; some platforms may require user to have a personal account (all posting will be done on LC accounts)
  • Some nights and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable with cold emails and calls to LC community and others.
  • Ability to travel when and if necessary.

Physical Requirements: Occasional light lifting and moving (non-essential), traversing to different locations on campus (essential)
