Season Opener Promises an Exciting Season for Men’s Basketball
On Tuesday night, the men's basketball team opened the season with a home game vs Hampshire College in the Click Family Sports Center. The closely matched teams battled fiercely for the lead throughout the game, ending the usual forty minutes of play in an 81 point tie and forcing the game into double overtime. Despite the roar of a spirited home crowd, Hampshire eventually ousted the home team by five points finishing with a score of 95-100.
After getting a late start, the women's teams went head to head. Still finding their stride, the Landmark ladies managed to slow Hampshire's scoring in the second half but lost 18-66.

Both teams travel to Simon's Rock this Sunday, November 12 to play next. On November 18th, competition returns to the Click Center when the men take on Word of Life at 1pm, followed by the women at 3pm.
