    Location: Landmark College Alumni Residential Dining

    Summary: Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, and service schedules. Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is always provided.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Serves and prepares meals by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
    • Uses prescribed menus and recipes during meal preparation. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
    • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
    • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
    • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
    • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
    • Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
    • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
    • Attends in-service and safety meetings.
    • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
    • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Location: Landmark College Fireside Café

    Summary: Takes food orders and efficiently relays them to back-of-the-house staff. Prepares, presents, and serves food in a fast-food/casual setting.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Greets guests promptly and warmly.
    • Utilizes touch screen POS system to process orders
    • Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Rings all items sold and obtains customer signature as required
    • Demonstrates a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients.
    • Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and all special requests are addressed and accommodated.
    • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to supervisor.
    • Assists in preparation of fast-food items in compliance with all safety and safe food handling standards.
    • Performs light cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping, to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
    • Keeps equipment, work area and facilities clean and in order.
    • Responsible for all assigned change, funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Location: Alumni Dining

    Summary: Prepares quality food for students, staff and guests using standardized recipes and production sheets. Monitors service line during mealtime ensuring proper temperatures and service standards. Full time schedule Sunday - Thursday, 12 - 8 p.m. More details upon interview. Prior food prep experience is preferred. Willing to train! Starting pay: $16.50 per hour.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepares menu items on production sheets, following established quantities and recipes.
    • Completes and uses daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
    • Operates and cleans equipment per departmental procedures after each use.
    • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy.
    • Communicates customer-related problems to appropriate personnel.
    • Adheres to facility confidentiality and procedures.
    • Complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state and JCAHO.
    • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
    • Completes required documentation, reports, and logs as required.
    • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as departmental sanitation procedures.
    • Fills, restocks, and monitors service lining during service hours.

    Location: Landmark College Alumni Hall Residential Dining

    Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas; keeps equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing established cleaning protocol. Responsible for regular washing of service ware and food preparation equipment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operates automatic dish machine as well as manual ware washing station
    • Sweeps and mops kitchen, dining and service area floors
    • Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers
    • Transfers supplies, equipment and food between storage and work areas
    • Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food
    • Complies with all sanitation, quality assurance and safety requirements

    Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation and service of all meals, maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards within the dining room and service facilities.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Performs sales transactions.
    • Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
    • Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment.
    • Issues receipts to customers.
    • Follows standard procedures for all cashiering transactions
    • Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
    • Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
    • Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
    • Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
    • Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
    • Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
    • Relays relevant information to supervisor.
    • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
    • Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
