ABC News’s Deborah Roberts and Rebecca Jarvis to Speak at Landmark College’s Spring Gala

Headshots of Deborah Roberts and Rebecca Jarvis Landmark College announced that Deborah Roberts and Rebecca Jarvis of ABC News have been added to the program for its “Futures: We Get There Together” fundraising gala taking place Thursday, April 18 at Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York City.

Deborah Roberts (pictured left) is an award-winning ABC News correspondent and co-anchor of the prestigious news magazine, “20/20.” She is a regular contributor to “Good Morning America” and has served as a guest co-host on “The View.” Roberts has authored two books, “Lessons Learned and Cherished: The Teacher Who Changed My Life,” which was a New York Times Best Seller, and “Been There, Done That: Family Wisdom For Modern Times,” which she co-wrote with her husband, Al Roker.

Rebecca Jarvis (pictured right) is ABC News chief business, technology & economics correspondent and the host and creator of the critically acclaimed podcast, “The Dropout.” Jarvis is also an executive producer of “The Dropout” Hulu series, based on her podcast. Her work can be seen on all ABC News platforms including “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline,” “20/20” and “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

Tickets for the “Futures: We Get There Together” gala are on sale now at www.landmark.edu/gala2024 or by contacting the Landmark College Office of Institutional Advancement at 802-387-6734. There are options to attend both in-person and online. The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. and includes a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and a full dinner.

The evening’s program will also include live and fund-a-need auctions, and stories from students, parents, and trustees about how Landmark College exclusively enrolls students with learning differences (such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or executive function challenges) to achieve their academic and career goals.  An online auction and 50-50 raffle will also be part of the fundraising efforts leading up to the gala.

Proceeds from the event will provide scholarship and programmatic support for current and future Landmark College students. Since 2014, Landmark College galas have raised more than $3 million in support of its mission.
