As the Ireland program wraps up, RJ, Michael, Quill and Donovan recount some of their final experiences here.
On Friday we took a trip to Poulnabrone and the Cliffs of Moher
Ryan, Felix, and Ellie write about their weekend in Galway
On the day after we arrived in Galway, we did a scavenger hunt.
After our last class in Dublin on Tuesday, we travelled to Galway on Wednesday, June 26th, and had dinner at the Skeffington Arms
Ellie visits the Archeology Museum for a second time. We have a class visit from Andrew Montague, former Lord Mayor of Dublin
Viking Tours, A Peaceful Walk, and Drag Brunch at the Wigwam
On Thursday we had a tour of the Abbey Theatre and in the evening saw the Sugar Wife there. On Friday we travelled by Dart to Sandycove and the James Joyce Tower Museum.
On Wednesday we began our day with a walking tour of Dublin’s architecture with John Montague. Following our wonderful architecture tour we visited Merchant Arch Bar for an Irish dance party.
On Tuesday we visited Trinity College, the Book of Kells and the Old Library - Ellie, Felix and Ryan
Little Museum of Dublin, the GPO, Dublin NY Portal & Haypenny Bridge, Temple Bar--Glenn, Fionn & Max
Our first day in Ireland was packed and our program got off to a really good start.
Field trip to Lady Gregory’s estate at Coole Park and to the home of her friend and literary collaborator, W.B. Yeats.
The group relocates to Galway City, on the Atlantic coast of Ireland.
