Mission
The Landmark College Institute for Research and Training (LCIRT) works to expand neurodiversity-based research and leverage innovative practices to improve educational and career outcomes for neurodivergent people. LCIRT fulfills this mission and the broader mission of Landmark College by engaging in research in collaboration with and on behalf of neurodivergent people and disseminating emerging knowledge, perspectives, and practices in the field of learning differences.
Vision
We envision a future in which education, the workplace, and society are accessible, equitable, and inclusive for all individuals — neurodivergent and neurotypical. LCIRT will realize this vision by expanding Landmark College’s internationally recognized research institute comprised of neurodivergent and neurotypical researchers from diverse fields and disciplines. The Institute’s focus is on developing, translating for practice, and disseminating research about and alongside neurodivergent people to (a) optimize learning and societal opportunities and (b) address barriers that reduce opportunity for neurodivergent individuals to achieve their desired goals and those of society.
Engage with LCIRT
Currently, the Institute staff shares this information with education professionals through webinars, online certificate courses, on-site and online workshops, and the signature Summer Institute for educators, among other activities.
