2026 Spring Term Orientation

Congratulations on your decision to join the Spring incoming class and make Landmark College your college!

The information below will serve as a helpful ongoing resource on the steps to take before your arrival, as well as information about campus life at Landmark College.

The Landmark College team has designed a robust orientation program for students and their families to support your strong connection to programming and community. The major components of our Orientation program include:

  • New Student Forms & Onboarding: Please review and complete the forms to help the College staff prepare for your arrival on campus.
  • Pre-Arrival Virtual Sessions: In January, we will host several online sessions to help you prepare for your arrival on campus. These sessions are designed to provide you with important information and answer any questions you may have before you start your journey at Landmark College.
  • On-Campus Orientation Program: This section provides an overview of the orientation programming for on-campus students.
  • Family Orientation: We recognize that families play an integral part in supporting their students in having a successful experience. To support your journey, we have also designed a series of programs, which include the pre-arrival sessions outlined below, as well as dedicated sessions during the on-campus portion of our orientation program
  • Spring semester: Important Dates

You are encouraged to review the related content and attend a session to learn more about campus resources and programs, and have any questions answered before your arrival.

Several essential forms and tasks should be completed before arriving on campus.  We encourage students to start working on these forms upon acceptance.  We have found that working on a few forms and tasks at a time makes the process more manageable.  Completing these forms online will expedite the new student registration process, streamlining your arrival and residential hall move-in.  Any outstanding forms will be completed at registration before entering the residence halls.

To access your onboarding checklist and all your forms, log in here using the email address, username, and password you created when you submitted your admissions application to Landmark.  Additional information about the new student forms can be found on the Student Onboarding page.

To support your arrival on campus and connection to the community, the Landmark College team will offer a series of optional pre-arrival virtual sessions for students and their families.  Links to join these virtual events are included below.  Where appropriate, sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing for those who are unable to attend.  The recordings will be shared on this page.  Please contact Student Affairs ([email protected]) if you have any questions.  Our current pre-arrival sessions include the following:

Managing Your Medical & Mental Health Care while at Landmark (Open to Students and Families)—Join Jeff Huyett, Director of Health Services, Tori Tilson, Director of Counseling Services, and Meg Spicer, Assistant Director of Counseling Services, as they provide an overview of medical and mental health services available at LC and essential steps to take before your arrival.  The presenters will review the content of this helpful resource, which is available here.

  • Previous Recording Available Here:

Note: Please take a look at the orientation video for Health and Counseling Services.  One significant change in regulations this year is that COVID-era regulations for cross-state prescribing of controlled substances like stimulants and tranquilizers have changed since January 1.  Clinicians will no longer be able to send cross-state prescriptions for these items.  So please make plans with us about who will prescribe.  Jeff Huyett, APRN, can work with students to maintain their prescription medications.  But we also have a list of local telehealth psychiatry practices if you prefer to see a psychiatric provider while on campus.

Housing, Dining, and Campus Safety (Open to Students and Families)—Join the Residential Life, Dining Services, and Campus Safety teams as they present an overview of your home on campus.  Ask questions, gather invaluable insights, and gain a deeper understanding of how our exceptional housing, dining, and campus safety services can enhance your college experience.  Residential Life will review the content available on the Residential Life webpage.

Orientation & Arrival to Campus (Open to Students and Families)—Join LC staff for an overview of the New Student / Family Orientation on-campus programs, a review of arrival to campus logistics, and a dedicated space to address your remaining questions before your travel to Vermont.  This session will cover everything you need to know about your first few days at Landmark College, from the orientation schedule to campus facilities and services.
