Taking a tour of Berlin on the River Spree on our Last Day!
Tuesday and Wednesday were spent in class and on field trips visiting the Jewish Museum and the Reichstag.
We began our week by visiting a number of key memorials to the victims of the Holocaust.
This weekend we were lucky to have the annual Carnival of Cultures celebration in our neighborhood, including a four hour parade in front of our campus!
At the end of the second week, students share their experiences in journal entries.
Today we all visited Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.

Students jumped fully into exploring Berlin this weekend!
We have been very busy! We've had a class each morning and then yesterday we toured the old airport/airfield, Tempelhof, and today we visited the Olympic Stadium and had a tour led by an historian. The students are starting to get over their jet lag and are venturing out and having fun.
Today was our first full day with a class and field trip.
