Landmark College embraces the unique paths of homeschooled students, offering a personalized environment where their learning journeys can truly flourish.
Landmark College’s unique approach to education resonates with homeschoolers, offering an environment that truly understands and supports the individual learning styles of each student. That approach includes:
- Small class sizes.
- One-on-one academic advising
- Executive function (EF) support.
- Social pragmatics services and support.
Aside from full-time, in-person enrollment, we offer short -term summer and online programs for homeschooled students looking to elevate their learning skills and study habits prior to making the college transition, and professional development opportunities for homeschooling parents looking to improve the classroom experience for their students.
The Transfer Process
Transferring to Landmark College is as easy as 1-2-3. Our transfer counselors will help guide you through the process step by step:
1. Apply
- A completed Application for Admissions.
- $75 application fee, made payable to Landmark College
The fee is required unless you submit a fee waiver request.
2. Submit Your Transcripts and Testing
- Official transcripts of all high school and college work
- Psycho-Educational Testing—Tests must be administered within three years of applying and must include:
- Cognitive testing
A series of standardized tests used to evaluate the cognitive and intellectual abilities of the student. Complete scores, including sub-test, are required to provide a comprehensive understanding of the applicant.Please submit one of the following:- Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS)
- Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC)
- Woodcock Johnson Cognitive Test (WJ Cog)
- Reading achievement testing
Provides a three-dimensional picture of the applicant’s reading abilities, measuring vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and reading rate.Please submit one of the following:- Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT)
- Woodcock Johnson Achievement Test (WJ Ach)
- Nelson Denny Reading Test
- Gray Oral Reading Test (GORT)
- Cognitive testing
- Diagnosis of a learning disability, ADHD, or ASD (must have been diagnosed within three years of applying)
Current diagnosis by a professional is a requirement for admission to Landmark College. (Students who do not have a current diagnosis are encouraged to contact the Office of Admissions to discuss their individual situation/circumstances.) - Personal statement (optional)
- Instructor recommendation(s) (optional)
This should be completed by a teacher or professor in an academic subject who knows you well. You may submit additional recommendations. - SAT/ACT scores (optional)
Financial Aid Deadlines
The priority financial aid deadline for completed applications is July 1. To be considered for financial aid at Landmark College, you must submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

The Landmark College Financial Aid Office understands that reaching one’s education goal is both a personal and a financial decision. There is a great deal of responsibility involved in pursuing a college degree, and both prospective and currently enrolled students require a commitment and sensitivity to their personal and financial needs. Our financial aid packages typically consist of a mix of state and federal grants and loans, as well as college scholarship support. You are invited to learn about funding sources available to you, including a Medical Tax Deduction, unique to Landmark College.
We encourage families to begin the financial aid process as soon as possible. Our tuition costs are reflective of our specialized approach, yet we make every effort to make Landmark affordable. We suggest that you utilize our net price calculator to establish what your individualized costs will be.
