Previous Events

The 2025 "Impact" fundraising event took place online on April 24 and raised approximately $225,000 for Landmark College students. The event consisted of live and recorded segments highlighting the educational and social opportunities available to Landmark College students, as well as the presentation of the first Student Impact award to the organizers of the NeuroVisions Flim Festival: Julian Bond, Nina King, Aidan Kipp, Nailah Quail-Parker, and Gavin Weiland.

On April 18, 2014, Landmark College held the "FUTURES: We get there together" Gala at at Brooklyn Botanic Garden - 1000 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. The event raised nearly $400,000 for scholarship and programmatic support for current and future residential program and LC Online Landmark College students. Deborah Roberts of ABC News was the event’s featured speaker. Rebecca Jarvis, a colleague of Roberts at ABC News, was also a special guest.

Landmark College Giving Day 2023 Generates Over $212K for Annual Fund

Fundraising Activities on April 20 culminated with “One Day, One Vision, Many Lives Changed” online event featuring Emmy-nominated actress Amy Brenneman.

LC's bi-annual gala returned to New York City on April 28, 2022, but also include an online component that expanded participation. The result was more than $500,000 raised to support of the College's Annual Fund and Imagine Campaign. NBC News's Sheinelle Jones received the LD Luminary Award, with her colleague and 2021 LD Luminary recipient Al Roker in attendance.

After being postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the "Rising to the Challenge" gala was held online on April 29, 2021 and raised more than $250,000 from ticket sales, sponsorships, an online auction, fund-a-need and 50/50 raffle. NBC News' TODAY weatherman and co-host Al Roker received an LD Luminary Award.

"Champions of Change" took place April 24, 2018 at the Bryant Park Grill in New York City. The College raised $350,000 that evening to support scholarships and student programs. An additional $350,000 pledge was secured to support online initiatives. Late night host Seth Meyers was an honored guest and bestselling author John Elder Robison received the LD Luminary Award. The 2016 "Unlocking Futures" gala took place on April 19 at the Bryant Park Grill in New York City and raised approximately $250,000 in scholarship support for Landmark College students. Actor/Activist Holly Robinson Peete received the LD Luminary Award, while Alumni Aaron Wolf '04 and Mark Gessner '02 received Landmark College Accolades.

On April 29, 2014, Landmark College held the "Uncut Diamonds: Brilliance Through Innovative Education" Gala at ROBERT, the Museum of Art and Design in New York City. The event raised $1.5 million for the College's capital campaign to build a new Science, Technology & Innovation Center. Academy Award-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg received the LD Luminary Award. Also providing remarks that evening were Russell Cosby and LC alumni Daniel Lewis and Lissa Piercy.
