Seventy-eight graduates were honored on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Landmark College's Spring Commencement Ceremony.
Manju Banerjee, Ph.D., has been elected to a three-year term on the Professional Advisory Board of the Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA).
The two ventures that received this year's awards are both focused on virtual reality and software development.
Bob and Enid Wainwright have made a substantial donation of ceramic equipment and supplies to the Fine Arts Department at Landmark College.
Under the new agreement, Landmark College will provide middle and high school programming and professional development opportunities to local schools.
“I think of it as a stepping stone,” said Megan Freeman, who is employed in the TCI Services office this month. “I think this is a good thing to prepare me for the next step.”
The graduating class included 24 recipients of an associate of arts degree (20 in liberal studies and four in business studies), three who earned an associate of science degree (two in computer science/gaming and one in life sciences), and five who received a bachelor’s of arts in liberal studies.
The Landmark Writing Project seeks to integrate, articulate and apply an approach to teaching and supporting writing across the curriculum that is unprecedented in higher education and holds potential for broad dissemination.
