Sara joins the Success Center through her work with Landmark College. Always aspiring to be a teacher, she earned her initial degree in Secondary Education with a focus on high school English. During her studies, she discovered a deep interest in supporting neurodivergent students, which led her to pursue a master’s degree in Special Education. In her recent career, she completed the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training (LCIRT) program in Executive Function, further strengthening her expertise in helping students develop strategies for academic success. Sara has been part of Landmark College’s High School Summer Program in Putney, Vermont, for the past three summers and continues this meaningful work in her role as a Special Education teacher at a local Vermont high school. Beyond the classroom, Sara has engaged with youth through after-school programming and summer camp leadership, serving as a program coordinator, counselor, and director. She enjoys crocheting, spending time with her two dogs, and traveling.
