Dr. Saddlemire comes to LCIRT with over 30 years’ experience in higher education. She has worked in public and private settings, taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and coordinated services for students within Academic and Student Affairs. Her studies and experience in student development, administration, curriculum design, and law and public policy led to her interest in postsecondary students and disabilities. As part of the LCIRT team, she is grateful for the opportunity to educate others about neurodivergence. Dr. Saddlemire has extensive knowledge of college student transition, Universal Design, and academic support for neurodivergent students. She has over a decade of experience coordinating Accessibility Services. She was raised in Wisconsin and gradually moved toward the East Coast, attending graduate school in Ohio and then relocating with her family to Connecticut and Rhode Island. She is now happy to be a full-time Vermonter!
