After graduating nursing school in 1992, Dawn worked for Duke University Medical Center before starting a mental health nursing career at John Umstead Hospital in Butner North Carolina in 1994. In 1997, she returned home to work for The Brattleboro Retreat with Children and Adolescents until joining Landmark College in August of 2020. In 2023 Dawn received certification to provide ADHD Clinical Services.
