Learning Without Limits with LC Online

Charles Sengstock, Associate Dean of Online Learning: The difference between LC Online and other online programs is that our courses are developed very intentionally for students that learn differently. They're set up in a consistent manner. If you take one course, then you know what the other courses are going to look like.

Lee Dufresne, LC Online Student: The teachers that I had were excellent. They were very engaging in what they were talking about and were very flexible when I needed them to be. I feel that I have more confidence than I originally did when I had first started.

Charles Sengstock: The courses are research based and the students are well supported, not only by the faculty but also their dedicated advisors who they meet with once a week.

Misty Chisum, Assistant Professor of Education: We are very careful that we build in ways for students to access us. So, just like in a regular face-to-face course, office hours are central to that.

Amy Chadwick, LC Online Adjunct, Core Education, Liberal Studies: I think like with any student neurodiverse, neurotypical, the one-to-one is absolutely the most important thing. On the syllabus it will say if these times aren't going to work for you, reach out and we will make sure that we have time to visit about whatever it is that you need to work on.

Dufresne: I feel like one of the courses that had the biggest impact on me was "Perspectives in Learning."

Chadwick: I engage with each student individually based on their neurotype. To help them be the most successful in class is really to learn who they are and what they hope to get out of the class.

Dufresne: It was interesting to kind of be able to learn about like what I have, and how it is like, a superpower rather than like a drawback or a burden.

Sengstock: If you're looking for a place where you'll be understood, supported, and inspired to reach your full potential, Landmark College is the place for you.

Dufresne: The online courses have prepared me to eventually achieve the goal of becoming a nurse um in laying the foundation for the core classes that I need in order to get my health sciences degree and then from there get into nursing school.

Sengstock: We're here to help you achieve your dreams and show you that your potential is limitless.
