Nolan Horn, West Hartford, Conn., Transition-at-College (TaC) student: I wanted to do a gap year because I really didn't know 100 percent what I wanted to do in my life. I thought the Transition at College program was interesting. It was sort of like a slow ease into college, which I sort of liked, because it allowed me to get a little bit of experience under my belt, allowed me to take a few classes, allowed me to get a feel of the college experience. I've been here for a semester already, and I think things have gone pretty well with the TaC program. I have like, an advisor, who I talk to about my classes, my grades, and because of that, I've been able to do very, very well with my classes. Landmark College is really for everyone. Anybody can come here. It's a very accepting and very kind community.
