Jan Coplan, Senior Director of Employer Relations and Career Connections Services: We have this phenomenal model for education.

Coplan: But what happens after, and what happens during, that demonstrates that our students are work-ready, and ready to leave with a degree and find employment?

Leah Gallagher, Chief Strategy Officer and Partner, Belfort Group: One of the really great things about Landmark College interns and students, generally, is that they are neurodivergent. And so, they actually do approach and think about things differently. They're a really great add to the team, because they're able to approach the work in a unique way and really help support the development of the work that we're doing for clients.

Richard Little, Intern with Landmark College’s Health Services: I'm learning a lot of professional office navigation. I'm learning how to conduct myself, how to take calls, how to send messages, how to use our online organizational systems.

Cindy Brown, Health & Counseling Office Manager: I've worked with a lot of the internships on campus, but this is the first time I really had my own intern, and it's been a great experience for me, trying to have someone be my equal and step up when I'm not here.

Gabby Killin, Marketing & Communications Intern: I chose the Marketing department for my internship to get more of an experience with filming and media. I wanted to learn more of the environment and tools and skills that I will need to know.

Marlee Bickford-Bushey, Career Advisor: I think also it's really important to understand, with each student that comes through my door, that I'm empowering a student who's going to go out there, go into the workplace, and change it for so many students who may be coming into the workplace, to know  that they're not alone.

Coplan: I love that part of my job, when a student comes back from an internship that we have mapped out together, related to their career goals and their academic discipline, and they are on fire for the next time.
