Eric Moschella, Director of Academic Support and Advising: At Landmark, we're really all about integrating academic support, advising, placement, coaching are all rolled into one unit. And that is so that the student can get the things that they need at the time that they need them.
Anna Habib, Coordinator of Placement and Transition: We're here to really support students as much as possible and I think that begins at placement. I want to make sure that from the beginning, that's noted and that they're placed into a point of entry that's going to be most supportive of making sure that we build those skills.

Minna Roussi, Coordinator of Academic Support: We have some students who are coming on a weekly basis, multiple times a week, for reading writing appointments or for coaching appointments. And we have other students just booking as needed throughout the semester. So, we're not a quiet place. There aren't crickets, and students are really not hesitating to come in and use the resources. We try to create as welcoming and inclusive a space as possible for everyone, so they really feel comfortable working here.
Moschella: What we try and do is have a contact, and in the academic affairs side of things. That would be the academic advisor, who can help the student navigate all the resources on campus, can help them find the things that they need.
Nevada Bromley, Academic Advising Coordinator: One thing that's really important about the interpersonal connections that we're setting up is that the student come in and get to know an advisor and build a sense of trust with the advisor. So, it's very important that the student feels confident in that relationship and can build a connection with the advisor. More than anything, advisors are helping students get to know who they are, both as students and as people.
Moschella: Our advisors will work with students on assessing their interests as far as careers are concerned. They'll work with them on getting to appropriate resources, like career connections.
Jan Coplan, Director of Career Connections: Our office is by your side throughout the entire process. You have someone that will meet with you on a weekly basis, on a bi-weekly basis, as needed, but there's a lot more contact. We have a very diverse population at Landmark, and their learning differences are different, so we customize our services and the way that we walk them through a process based on what they share helps them to be successful.
Moschella: We do have a campus that is the right size for building strong relationships and strong connections between the student and the advisor, between the faculty and the advisor. Our advisors and our faculty are connected. Our residence life staff and our advisors are connected. So a student really quickly on the Landmark campus will develop a nice core network of support.
