Walk and Ride

We saw our first show: In honor of Jean Michel Basquiat with Roger Guenver Smith at the New York Theater Workshop on East 4th Street. We walked down from Pod39 through Union Square and the Greenmarket, visited Forbidden Planet to check out the comics then split into a couple of groups for lunch—Cozy Soup and Burger near Astor Place was a hit. Dumpling Xi was also good. After that the rain started coming down. We got out our plastic rain ponchos and umbrellas, found our way to the theater, and watched Roger Guenver Smith perform. It was still raining when we got out so we headed back by bus. A full day!
