Visiting the Reichstag

[Text and images by Program Director Peg Alden]

The design of the Reichstag is impressive. While it folds in historical architectural elements, it's glass dome (with its nod to the importance of transparency in the political process) is striking. The self-guided tour allowed students both a micro understanding of the building and a macro view of Berlin.
