Visiting Buckingham Palace

Today we ventured out to watch the changing of the guard at both Buckingham palace and the horse guard parade, ceremonies which are daily occurrences in London and part of a longstanding tradition of more than 350 years. The king was not in residence at the time, as indicated by the union jack vs. royal standard flag flying over the palace.
