Student Reflection: A Hike on St. John

By Levi Hahn

This is picture of me on Ram's Head. There was a slave revolt that happened there in the 1700s. The hike was long and hard. A very incredible lookout point. This was a moment of victory to get to the top of the mountain. It was great to see the beautiful view. Hard to walk for at least an hour or 2 without stopping for a second for drink, which we did twice. It was a nice hike, and the cacti were nice to look at along the trail. We had to be careful to not get poked. The trail was nice, though I wish it was not as uphill, very rocky in that one part which was hard to get through. The sound of clicking against the rocks was good. Overall, this was a great hike.
