Spectacular Day at Glastonbury
Our day began on a coach leaving London in steady rain; however, when we arrived in Glastonbury, the rain had stopped and the sun came out. Perhaps the handiwork of Merlin and his magic? After Dr. Miller's brief lecture on King Arthur, students explored the Glastonbury Museum and Abbey grounds. We had a guided tour from Edmund the Peasant and then climbed Glastonbury Tor where we were greeted with a magnificient rainbow framing the beautiful and iconic English countryside. We enjoyed traditional cream tea at a quaint, village tea room before heading back to London.
"I really enjoyed walking up the trail and seeing the gorgeous view on the top of the Glastonbury Tor. It was funny how windy it was up there!" Matt Bronico
"The wind up on Glastonbury Tor was unbelievable. I've never eperienced anything quite like that in my life!" Andrew Barnick
"It was so pretty, I almost didn't mind falling in the mud!" Alyssa Picknelly
