Milestones in The Hague: Birthdays and BBQ, just like home

Hello, Landmark parents! I am Zac, and I’ve been learning a lot about the education system here in the Netherlands these past few weeks! This week, though, I turned 21. In celebration of this milestone, my dad, Alan, flew in from the States to take the class, Dr. Chisum, and Professor Matte, out for barbecue food at El Mamma BBQ in the Grote Markt (about 5 minutes from the hostel). While my dad was here, we visited places like the Escher Museum and shops along the Grote Markt. He told me he really enjoyed his time with me and all the friends I’ve been making on this trip, as well as the professors. Thank you for visiting me, Dad! I look forward to making more memories in the next week and tell you all about them on when I return.
