Day 1: Farm Tours and New Foods

We arrived in Costa Rica without incident and spent the afternoon in San Jose. Today was our first full day and included a pineapple farm tour, an organic farm tour, a local food sampling session, great meals, and a hotel at the foot of Costa Rica's largest volcano. I've been impressed with the way the students have, without exception, been adventurous and tried new foods and activities. Everyone is healthy, happy and enjoying the 78-degree weather.
