Day 1: Arrival in London

It was an early start to our first day in the city. The group arrived in London at 5:55 a.m., traveled via tube to Whitechapel, and made it to the hotel in East London by mid-morning. The weather was a bit rainy and dreary, but we enjoyed our tour of the area in the afternoon, led by a local guide. We explored the areas of Spitalfields and Brick Lane, part of the historic East end of the city. We then returned to the hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.
