On September 20th, the Landmark College Sharks soccer team pulled of a major victory on the road against Bennington College—and in last minute fashion, at that.

Bennington led 2-0 at the half, but the Sharks pulled out all the stops en route to a thrilling comeback victory. Levi Hill scored on a free kick to bring the score within one, before Tavon Wilson added a pair of goals to seal a Landmark victory, with his second goal taking place in the final 60 seconds of the match.

Head Soccer Coach Zack Steinbaum said that, at halftime, he told the team that "we needed to work together and communicate to win," and switched to a more agressive lineup, moving Tavon Wilson up to striker.

Landmark College Athletics Director Josh Ascani reported that it was just the third road victory against Bennington, a regular opponent, over the past eight years. "A win on their turf is a big deal," Ascani said afterwards.

The come-from-behind victory against Bennington was also the first win of the season for the Sharks soccer team, which now holds a 1-2 record as they enter the homestretch of the season. As they prepare for the back half of their season, Steinbaum said that the sharks will be "working on our communication and quick passing," with the goal of developing more give-and-go action and successful through balls.
