Landmark College Raises Over $400,000 at Hearts & Minds & Imagination Spring Gala

Landmark College raised more than $400,000 at its annual Spring Gala, titled "Hearts & Minds & Imagination Spring Gala: The Power of Learning Differently." The event was held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at City Winery NYC at Pier 57 in New York City. Funds raised at this event support student scholarships, career services, internships, study abroad experiences, online learning initiatives, and other programs that serve the College's neurodivergent students.

The evening also marked Landmark College's 40th anniversary as a global leader in education for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism.

The gala honored several individuals and organizations for their contributions to advancing neurodiversity.

  • NBC News journalists Hoda Kotb and Kate Snow received the LD Luminary Award for their work to raise awareness of learning differences on the national stage.
  • Mattel, Inc. and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network received the inaugural LD Champion Award for their collaboration on the first autistic Barbie doll.
  • Anastasio Bonhomme '26, a neurodivergent STEM scholar, received the Student Impact Award in recognition of his leadership on campus.
  • Founding faculty members and Professors Emeriti Daniel Toomey and Linda Kerr received the Founders Award.

"The generosity we saw at this year's gala reflects a deep belief in our students and in the power of learning differently," said Landmark College President Jim Dlugos, Ph.D. "As we celebrate 40 years, this support ensures we can continue opening doors for neurodivergent learners for decades to come."
