This Earth Day, Landmark College is proud to be participating once again in the annual Chemists Celebrate Earth Week event, organized by the American Chemical Society. With 2025 being the International Year of the Glacier, this year's earth week theme is glaciers, and the role they play in maintaining a sustainable planet.
Assistant Professor of Chemistry Christin Monroe and her students have organized informational experiments for several years to educate the public about Earth Day and the ways in which chemistry is key to understanding the world around us. This year, students Favio Terrero Dupiton and Madison Wan executed the experiment, which you can watch below.
