Landmark College Hosts Annual Community Meals, Raises Resources for Putney Foodshelf

Members of the Landmark College leadership team pose for a picture while handing out food at the Putney Community Supper on Friday, November 14.

Landmark College hosted two community dinners for Putney residents this November as part of the College's commitment to giving back to the Town of Putney. Both events–a community supper hosted on Friday, November 14 at Next Stage Arts and a Community Thanksgiving hosted on campus on Saturday, November 22–were iterations of annual events, including the 14th Annual Community Thanksgiving hosted on the Landmark College campus.

This year was the highest ever turnout for the Community Thanksgiving, with 256 members of the Putney community attending. The event also raised funds and non-perishable items on behalf of the Putney Foodshelf, bringing in $945 in contributions and over 150 pounds of food.

Reflecting upon the two events, Vice President for Marketing and Communications Chris Lenois said that "We at Landmark College are proud to call Putney home, and have appreciated the support and generosity of our neighbors over our 40 years. It's a pleasure to be able to give back to the community in this way, and to support the vital work of the Putney Foodshelf."

If able, please consider supporting the Putney Foodshelf this holiday season in support of their work to tackle food insecurity in the Putney area.
