Members of the Landmark College community generously supported the Annual Fund at Landmark College during the annual Giving Day, which took place on Tuesday, March 3, and related events throughout the week. 185 individual donors made contributions this year, with gifts totaling $35,795.
The Annual Fund supports a number of crucial needs, including student scholarships and financial aid, career development resources, study away programs, athletics and other student activities, and programs within the Centers for Diversity and Inclusion. Speaking to the impact of the Annual Fund, Aimee Nelson '25 said that scholarships she received "have supported me in focusing on my education at Landmark College, leading me to be a successful student inside and outside of the classroom."
Director of Information Technology Services Tina LaFlam said that she gives to the Landmark College Annual Fund "because I’ve seen firsthand how Landmark transforms challenges into strengths." Supporting the Annual Fund "helps students unlock their potential, gain confidence, and thrive in ways that reach far beyond the classroom," she continued.
Programming around Giving Day included a Student Phonathon to contact alumni and friends of the College, a Pie the Shark fundraiser for students, and a written appeal mailed by current student Ethan Lyles.
Director of Alumni Relations Tricia Stanley reflected upon the week's successes, saying "we are deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this week so special—and to all those who continue to share the story of this truly magical place in the hills of Vermont."
