The Curriculum Committee of Landmark College's Faculty Senate has reviewed and approved three new baccalaureate majors at Landmark College. All three draw on the expertise of existing faculty and will begin to enroll students for the Fall 2025 semester. The new major offerings are History, Health Sciences, and Media Arts Production.
In announcing the new majors, Vice President for Academic Affairs Karrie Kalich said "coming just over a decade after Landmark College launched its baccalaureate program, this is an exciting and continued expansion of our academic offerings for students. These new majors respond to increasing student demand in these areas, and will help to prepare students for career success in a wide variety of fields - from law and public policy to the medical field and an ever evolving media industry. We are excited to see what our students and graduates accomplish in these fields."
Like all academic programs at Landmark College, instructors will utilize research-backed pedagogical methods such as Universal Design for Learning in their course and program design.
