Landmark College Announces the Hire of Dan Buryj as VP for Administration and Chief Financial Officer

Landmark College last month hired Dan Buryj as Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer of the College. Buryj’s first day was Monday, October 27th.

Speaking as to why he joined the Landmark community, Buryj said that “Landmark College distinguishes itself as a remarkable institution with its unique focus on neurodiverse learners and its bold, future-oriented educational philosophy. The College’s vision for innovation and its commitment to student success are inspiring, and I am excited to contribute my experience in financial and organizational management to support these goals.”

Buryj joins Landmark College after serving for over four years as Vice President for Administration & Finance at Coker University, a private liberal arts college located in Hartsville, South Carolina. In this role, Buryj managed a $35 million endowment and an annual budget of nearly $28 million. Buryj also played a critical role in navigating the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, securing over $10 million in funding to ensure financial stability.

Prior to his tenure at Coker, Buryj was the Chief Financial Officer of The Arc Gateway, a Florida based nonprofit that serves over a thousand children and adults annually with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Buryj has earned a Master’s of Nonprofit Management from Regis University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy and Business Studies from Bentley University.
