Sharks have a strong showing in season openers
Athletics have had a momentous start to the 2018-2019 academic year.
Both the soccer and cross country teams had their first official competitions this past weekend, with our runners competing in the Linda's Closet 5k in Nelson, NH on Saturday, and the footballers hosting Simon's Rock at Charles Drake Field on Sunday.
While official results from the Linda's Closet 5k have not yet been posted, a number of Landmark College runners had successful first races. The team's next contest is the Run for Recovery 5k held in Brattleboro on Saturday.
In soccer, the Sharks defeated the Simon's Rock Llamas 5-1, with goals scored by returners Peter Ansay and Mark Broomer, and newcomer John Wright. LC will host Bennington for their next game this Saturday.
