“The Individualist” Arrives in the Library

Red and black, wavy metal lines reach upward from library atrium, with one black line going in a different direction from the restThe center of the Library has a bold new look featuring "The Individualist," a sculpture by Massachusetts artist Robin Tost. A special thanks to Associate Professor of Fine Arts Christie Herbert and Chief Financial Officer Jon MacClaren for securing the sculpture for its two-year loan to the College.

Robin Tost is very pleased to lend the College this sculpture, and she states, "The world needs at least one individualist in every crowd.”

And that's not the only upgrade to the skylight-lit space: carpeting on the raised atrium has been replaced by a warm wooden surface, thanks to Landmark College carpenter Allen Duckless.
