New issue of Voices available now

Text in dark blue and purple at top says Voices, a student publication of Landmark, Spring 2020 Volume 1 Issue 1, followed by a panorama photo of lower campus taken from the upper campus While Voices made its debut in the Fall 2019, this Spring 2020 issue marks a milestone in the history of campus publications at Landmark College.

For the first time, all aspects of the publication were produced entirely by students. This includes creating an operational infrastructure for Voices that will serve as a Constitution for future staff members to follow.

"Someday I will write a piece about what it was like for me to see the completion of a dream I have had since Landmark’s earliest years, to see students really in charge of their own voices. This issue is just proof of concept, and a lot more work lies ahead," says MacLean Gander, who has been teaching journalism at Landmark College and helping launch student publications in one form or another for the past 30 years.

This new direction in student journalism is made possible under the College's Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Entrepreneurail Leadership (BA-COMEL) degree that launched last semester.
