Landmark College Kicks Off “Alumni Challenge” Can the Sharks set a new fundraising record?

PUTNEY — Landmark College has announced its first annual Alumni Challenge — the goal is to raise $20,000 toward the Annual Fund with two exciting matching programs.

The first challenge is for 100 alumni to give to the Annual Fund. Once the goal is met, a generous donor has pledged a matching gift of $5000 to Landmark College.

The second challenge is a participation challenge open to all Landmark College contributors. For this challenge, every first-time donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,000 by another generous donor.

“It's not how much you give, it's your participation that matters,” said Tricia Stanley, associate director of Alumni Affairs. “This is a way to double your investment in Landmark College.”

Gifts to the Annual Fund support scholarships for deserving students, help attract and retain respected faculty, improve our technological infrastructure, develop new academic initiatives, update laboratory equipment, expand library resources, and enhance the recreation, athletics, and leisure elements of our Putney campus.

“I believe with all my heart that a college dedicated exclusively to students who learn differently needs to exist and needs to be as affordable as possible,” said Erich Seifert, ’11, president and CEO of code-laboration, inc. “Any support given to the Annual Fund helps not only defray operational costs, but enables increased flexibility in meeting each and every student’s needs.”

So whether you want to accept the Alumni Challenge or simply find out who is already participating, here are all the details.
