Landmark College Announces new CFO and VP for Enrollment Management

David LaValley, CPA, was named Vice President for Administration and Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 20, 2022. In this role, LaValley will provide leadership in the management of Landmark College’s financial resources, implementing financial policies that strengthen overall College operations and effectiveness. Previously, LaValley served as controller at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut, and for 20 years, he was treasurer and CFO of The Wire Association International Inc. in Madison, Connecticut. He has also served as a staff and audit manager for the accounting firms Arthur Anderson and RSM (McGladrey). LaValley earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Michael Stefanowicz has been named Vice President for Enrollment Management, effective July 11. Stefanowicz will oversee Landmark College’s student recruitment activities, enrollment and admissions processes, and the strategic administration of financial aid related to all on-campus programs in Putney and LC Online programs. Prior to joining Landmark College, Stefanowicz has served in various admissions and enrollment roles at St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont since 2009, most recently as Director of Admission. Stefanowicz earned a Master of Education in School Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies from St. Michael’s College.

LaValley and Stefanowicz serve on Landmark College’s senior leadership team as part of President’s Council under President Peter Eden.
