Jill Hinckley is Landmark College’s Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the School of Education. Jill Hinckley has held many positions at Landmark College. As a veteran professor, she has taught writing and literature, chaired both the English and the Reading and Study Skills departments, served on the Curriculum Committee, and was elected to the Faculty Senate. In her role as dean, she has developed new programs, led program, and general education assessments, overseen short-term programs, and helped create and launch the first baccalaureate degree offered at Landmark College. Most recently, as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, she has re-designed the support units housed within the School of Education to better coordinate and scaffold the student experience from placement to advising, to academic support, to career readiness experiences.
